The Great American Divide

What happened? How could this come to be? I along with half of this great country are looking for answers. But just like in past elections we get the name callers, the finger pointers and all the so called experts telling us what we must do next. Politics as usual is once again in full swing.

What is the conservative message? How do we deliver it ? Are we believable? This past election showed that there was no conservative message that was believable or trust worthy enough to want to give up on Santa Claus bearing gifts. Does this mean that they have finally won and we have lost and need to accept the United Socialistic States of America.

I being foreign born don't like this idea because my 59 years in this country will be of not. I will be returning to a system that my parents were determined to get my family out of.

So what do we do ?

I know for certain what we have been doing does not work or will ever work. The Left has spent almost 75 years of incrementalism, whereby they own our schools, thus they have indoctrinated our children's minds. They have shut down free speech by making Political Correctness the norm. They have totally absorbed the old media whereby their is no more pretense that they are completely bias. Now that the Unions control the majority of government services they will never relinquish the golden goose that feeds them.

Again, What do we do? A voice that needs to " Tell it Like it is!"

Let take some of the major issues and explore how our message comes across.

Immigration

Our history has been that we welcomed immigrates from all over the world with the stipulation that they assimilated into the American culture and became Americans. But our trust worthy politicians decided somewhere along the line that this system was broken and that we needed to become multicultural, the English language is not necessary and our borders do not need to be secure but open.

Our message to any immigrant needs to be in forms of questions.
Why did you want to come to this country?
What has made you risk everything including your life to get here?
What was it about your country of birth that made you leave?

We know the answers, A better life, better opportunities and now better government gifts.

Political Correctness bars us from asking them  even more questions.
Why are they voluntarily taking part in the dismantling of this country and making it the same as the country that they risked their lives to leave?
What will they have gained when the United States is no more?
Will they be better off?
Where will they go when their are no more opportunities here?
What will they do then?
We shouldn't be afraid to tell them look around you look at your neighborhoods.
Why are they called barrios?
Why are they called ghettos?
Why do do except living in conditions that resemble where you came from and not what you dreamed that the United States would be?
Earlier immigrant families who have assimilated have lived the American Dream that was made available to them and do any of you think that they want to return to conditions of the past. All of you know the answer to that- Hell No!

Federal Deficits

How and when did the States relinquish the Power of the Purse to the Federal Government? As I stated before incrementalism, Woodrow Wilson the Founder of the modern day progressive movement managed to get passed a constitutional amendment so that the Federal government could collect income tax on the promise that it would be minuscule, but we all know about government promises. They lie and will continue to lie because it is all about the money that all progressives believe belongs to the government. I heard the other day that each state only receives 80 cents of every dollar that they send to the federal government. Republicans control the majority state houses, why don't these Republican Governors find a way to not send the money to the Feds in the first place. The Constitution states that the all moneys collected must be managed to the benefit of the states not visa verse.  The money comes from the states we should have a say on how it is being used.

Abortion

This past election took the cake when abortion activist made a commercial using young children to promote abortion. The pro life should have counter with a commercial using those same children disappearing from the screen with a message that the only thing pro choice leaves is an empty screen.

A Class Society - This is dear to my Heart and most immigrants

The citizens of the United States do not understand what a cast system or a class society is because they were born free and allowed to be whomever they wanted to be as long as they were willing to do what was necessary to get there. The idea that your identity be tied to the position of your birth  and remains with you throughout your life is foreign to Americans. Immigrants on the other hand are very familiar to this and this is usually a driving force that makes them want to come to the US.  Socialism, wants and needs class systems because then it is so much easier to control the population with their wants and needs.  The idea the a US citizen needs to settle for what the the Federal government deems that they need. I am still dumb founded that so many people are willing to go this route. The questions that I posted in the immigration section needs to be asked over and over  by every American for all immigrants must want to be American or they need to leave.

I can go on and on but I think many of you are getting where I am going with this. We can not be afraid to ask the questions that Political Correctness deems offensive, racists,  UN American or whatever term they use to shut us up.

The Faces of Conservatism and Liberalism

We all think we know who is what, but do we? The reason for this is that all our politicians talk out of both sides of their mouths and no one knows who to believe. The fact that many grassroots didn't bother to show up and vote because they are fed up with being manipulated into voting for someone that they don't believe in and is always the Johnny come lately. They are also fed up with the elites destroying those conservatives that the base gets excited about but are allowed to be destroyed by the left.

The following is a sample of Telling it Like it is, attributed to Robin Williams, but it is not and it has gone viral on the Internet.

What do you think of Robin Williams plan for America?

Obviously some of this is completely sarcastic, but you get where he is going. In my opinion, this is the most logical solution to our problems and should finally stop all the bitching from the left and right.

1) 'The US will apologize to the world for our 'interference' in their affairs, past & present. You know, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Tojo, Noriega, Milosevic, Hussein, and the rest of those 'good 'ole' boys', we will never 'interfere' again.

2) We will withdraw our troops from all over the world, starting with Germ any , South Korea , the Middle East , and the Philippines . They don't want us there. We would station troops at our borders. No one allowed sneaking through holes in the fence..

3) All illegal aliens have 90 days to get their affairs together and leave We'll give them a free trip home. After 90 days the remainder will be gathered up and deported immediately, regardless of whom or where they are. They're illegal!!! France will welcome them.

4) All future visitors will be thoroughly checked and limited to 90 days unless given a special permit!!!! No one from a terrorist nation will be allowed in. If you don't like it there, change it yourself and don't hide here. Asylum would never be available to anyone. We don't need any more cab drivers or 7-11 cashiers.

5) No foreign 'students' over age 21. The older ones are the bombers.. If they don't attend classes, they get a 'D' and it's back home baby.

6) The US will make a strong effort to become self-sufficient energy wise. This will include developing nonpolluting sources of energy but will require a temporary drilling of oil in the Alaskan wilderness. The caribou will have to cope for a while

7) Offer Saudi Arabia and other oil producing countries $10 a barrel for their oil. If they don't like it, we go someplace else. They can go somewhere else to sell their production. (About a week of the wells filling up the storage sites would be enough.)

8) If there is a famine or other natural catastrophe in the world, we will not 'interfere.' They can pray to Allah or whomever, for seeds, rain, cement or whatever they need. Besides most of what we give them is stolen or given to the army. The people who need it most get very little, if anything.

9) Ship the UN Headquarters to an isolated island someplace. We don't need the spies and fair weather friends here. Besides, the building would make a good homeless shelter or lockup for illegal aliens.

10) All Americans must go to charm and beauty school. That way, no one can call us 'Ugly Americans' any longer. The Language we speak is ENGLISH..learn it....or LEAVE...Now, isn't that a winner of a plan?

'The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'you want a piece of me?' '

One Last point on Telling it Like it and it is about Religion and God. The left is relentless about diminishing and destroying both and we allow them to get away with it. That needs to stop once and for all and make them look foolish for ever bringing it up.

Religion

During my years of parochial schools both elementary and secondary, A Catholic priest showed us the simplest way to prove that their is a God with a little toy from science called Newton's cradle. These four spheres hanging motionless until which time one or more are raised and released thus causing a sequence of motion that would appear to be perpetual. The priest explained that science can equate for almost everything except that motion can not start by itself. When science brings everything down to the simplest single atom, that atom can not start  the initial act of motion, just like those spheres hanging in Newton's cradle cannot move themselves. We of Faith believe that the raising of that sphere to start the perpetual motion is the Hand of God and Science cannot disprove that it is not!

One other area of religion that all the wing nuts on the left get bonkers on is that the Bible is a strict revelation of humanities past and that it is so contrary to what science has proven to be different. That age of the earth in comparison to the seven days of creation. First of all the Bible was written for the illiterate masses that understood symbolism over substance, therefore each day of creation could literally equate to a billion years. Genesis was written to be in it's simplest form so that the story of creation could be understood and accepted. If humanity didn't have stories handed done through out the ages we would not have any history at all. These stories are the starting points for anyone of science to begin what ever premise they need to start their individual theories. Once again God's words begins whatever science has to offer and allowed for its confirmation.

To all those of religious persuasion especially those that believe in the Bible. The Bible is broken down into two segments, The Old Testament - Judaism and the New Testament - Christianity. There is no dispute that the Old Testament is all the tenants of the Jewish Religion. Jesus Christ born a Jew is the link that ties the Old Testament to the New Testament especially when after his crucifixion and resurrection  he went to Peter and stated " Peter upon this rock I will build my church". Peter being the first Pope of the Catholic Church begins Christianity as we all know it. With the rule of man with all of its failings and weakness in charge of this church caused the onslaught of all the different denominations and persuasions have ensued. The Word of God remains the same however, how we interpret it as man that is a different story.

A Birthday Speech for the Ages

February 11, 2012, CPAC, key note speaker, Sarah Palin.

Why on earth would this speech be of any interest to anyone, especially since Sarah declined to pursue her destiny. Mine along with many others disappointment is not the purpose of this piece but rather What will Sarah say to those in attendance and those that still clinging for anything Sarah.

What will Sarah say? Will she go into the belly of the beast as she did in Wisconsin and challenge the Union protesters and President Obama with her " Game On "?

Will she simply provide a history lesson as to what conservatism is and what it stands for? Every election cycle every candidate up election will say and do anything to show they are the truest of conservatives and have up held every conservative principle however, we should overlook those little white lies that they were forced to tell in order to compromise so that we could all just get along.

Will she simply be a cheerleader to raise the spirits of all those that have become so dis heartened by the fact that we have a GOP establishment that is only concerned about how the game is played and that the rules and practices of the past are upheld. Politics is a game we win some we loose some, yet the power brokers remain the same and the status quot never changes. This I doubt, Sarah would have had to sell her soul to the devil to ever become a political pawn.

Will she provide a script on how to become a " Pit Bull with Lipstick " in attacking Obama? How to get into his head and take up residence rent free as she did so effectively with simple FaceBook postings. How difficult is it to be aggressive especially with Obama's three year record of calamity and despair through out the country?

Will she provide winning solutions and strategies that will allow this country to rebound from despair and depression that hasn't been seen since Jimmy Carter and as far back as the great depression? I see it as a simple matter of confidence. Once the people are confident in their leaders, they will take care of everything else. How can anyone progress if you are always worried that your government is going to take what ever you have and give to someone else that hasn't done a thing to earn it.

Will she open up and tell everyone that both parties are one and the same they have no interest in changing. The average citizen is a means to and end as long as they continue to let themselves be taxed and do not hold their elected officials be held accountable this charade will continue indefinitely or until the money runs out. Both parties are responsible for the looting of the United States Treasury. What happened in October of 2008 was the biggest embezzlement of the peoples money and trust and we are allowing them to get away with it.

Will she revert to a slogan that she has lived by since she was a little girl when she told her father " Get out of the way, I'll do it "? Would that make the GOP establishment and all the Washington insiders heads explode, since they have done everything they can to destroy any chance of her ever running for higher office again?

Whatever, she says it will be a birthday speech for the Ages.

Happy Birthday Sarah Palin

Will She? Can She?

Will She ? Can She ?, I'm not asking if Sarah Palin is getting into this campaign. Sarah has been in the campaign from the day that she resigned as governor of Alaska. Everything that she has done has been her Presidential Exploratory Committee and the formal announcement will be coming shortly.

My interest in the two questions is a paper that that Ive just read at
http://www.wilsoncenter.org/sites/default/files/shogan.pdf

Presidential Campaigns and the Congressional Agenda: Reagan, Clinton and Beyond by Dr Colleen Shogan, Assistant Professor, Government and Politics, George Mason University.

" In contemporary politics, presidents cannot escape the task of agenda setting. Like it or not, the president has become the most important single player in the legislative juggernaut of Washington DC. "

As long as I can remember presidential candidates make promises to get elected. Some are kept but many become just campaign rhetoric that were needed to get elected. Will she make promises that she can't keep ?

Reagan's 1980 Campaign

Reagan kept the message of the 1980 campaign simple: he ran on the platform that lower taxes and decreased federal expenditures would reinvigorate the domestic economy. ... Additionally, Reagan also emphasized two other policy proposals during the campaign. He offered solutions to the nation's energy problems, by asserting that the United States must work to produce more domestic energy sources. In foreign affairs, Reagan promised an increase in pay and benefit levels for the armed services and strengthening of the military.

Four simple promises that were kept to some degree, but why after 31 years are we still talking about lower taxes, excessive federal expenditures, energy independence and strengthening the military? Congress's trade off was that it raised the debt ceiling to $1 trillion. Sound familiar!

Clinton's 1992 Campaign

Bill Clinton aggressively campaigned on family leave, an overhaul of the nation's health care system, the earned income tax credit for the working poor, a national service initiative, motor voter, increased federal aid to schools, a reduction in defense spending, and more money for Head Start.

To understand these two campaigns and there direction we simply need to view the definitions of Conservative and Liberal.

"An ideal conservative believes in the importance of the individual and the family structure: that it is the responsibility of the individual within each family to do as much as they can for themselves before asking for assistance. When assistance is needed the route taken is community, city, county, state federal, in that order with the federal government the avenue of last resort."

" An ideal liberal takes the completely opposite position to an ideal conservative vying for socialistic form of government working from the top down wherein the freedom of the individual is compromised for the supposed good of the collective group."

Clinton delivered on his promise of change was rewarded with one of the largest political defeats by loosing control of the House of Representatives that the Democrats controlled for over 40 years.

Presidents Bush I & II tried to appeal to the moderates and govern with a blending of both ideologies both conservative and liberal. Both Presidents were more concerned with their foreign involvements, started two wars that were not finished and allowed the Congresses to erase much of the gains that were gained by the Reagan Revolution.

President Obama took his hope and change message to the liberal extreme of trying to transform the United States into to the European Socialistic model as it was crumbling before his very eyes. His Kensean theory of expanding the government role and excessive spending would restore economic security and prosperity. With the country on the verge of insolvency , the longest period of high unemployment and the country facing inflation of cost of goods and deflation of assets, we are left with an economy that is in limbo.

Who do we blame? Politicians go to Washington with the best intentions but the system has evolved into an entity that has become it's own life form. He eats and spits out anyone that tries to change the status quo. It has become a master of creating smoke and mirrors that makes innactions appear as actions to apease and mislead the voting public. The United States Government has become the biggest ponzi scam ever devised and no one is and will be held accountable.

It has been said that the ruling elites of both sides along with their cohorts in the media will always let us know whom they fear the most by their demonization, ridicule and shear destruction of the person. When they are successful that person becomes obscure. When they are not that person becomes stronger and very influential. Their is only one that fits that bill and it is Sarah Palin.

Once elected can she set an agenda that will force this bloated government to go on a diet, reduce its massive size, relinquish powers back to the states and let its people regain the reigns of their individualism that the constitution intended?

Does she have it in her to try?

Yes - Game on- 2012 can't come soon enough!

Talkers and Doers

As we wait and see what Sarah Palin is going to do, what do her followers do in the meantime?
Each day many people looking for the latest news or hint of what many hope will happen, log on to C4P. There everyone provide opinions and strategies some favorable some not, but everyone is talking.

Each day I read the talk and am amazed at some of the brain trust that exist with the people whom identify themselves by some cutsie name or image as there caption. Sarah has been criticized that she hasn't put together any formal organization structure to compete for POTUS. I have to disagree for she may have the largest organization of any candidate. Even the left and the Elite GOP know that the Palinistas are the largest and most loyal group of supporters that any candidate has. However, the only thing a majority of this group is providing vocal support, by talking, talking and continue talking. What happens if this large block of people decide to act on their talk. They become " Doers ".

Doers take things into their own hands and make things happen. Isn't this the main trait that everyone thinks when they think of Sarah Palin, she is a "doer ". I've repeated this phrase on many posts that best describes her " Get out of the way, I'll do it" . Well do we just continue to talk or are we going to use our collective creative brain trust that will aide the Palin campaign. Why should Sarah have to pay millions of dollars to hire campaign strategist to come up with cutsie campaign slogans, for yard signs, bumper stickers, banners, T-shirts, etc. From what I have seen Sarah as some of the most creative people on the planet at her beck and call.

I have made my living using my eyes and my creativity and I have decided that an idea comes to mind I'm going to act on it. One such idea is the attached, which I'm going to have made into a banner that I will display the day Sarah announces.

To the editors of C4P, you have posted some ideas that supporters have submitted, may I suggest that you post even more, let people feed off of others. We can become an unstoppable force if only we look to each other.

She's just Sarah...It is what is!

Today, Friday October 22, 2010, I got to shake Sarah Palin's hand. Why would I want to talk about it since I have always been a person that is not that easily impressed by one's celebrity status for celebrities usually are not what they appear to be.

I have been intrigued by Sarah Palin well before John McCain picked her as his VP. I followed Adam Brinkley's www.PalinforVP.com to discover that she wasn't your usual run of the mill politician that wants a title but does little else. She got into PTA not because she wanted to but rather to simply try to make a difference for her young family. This simple decision to get involved and to try to make a difference has turned her into national figure both loved and hated by millions of people.

One of the best pieces written is " Who is Sarah Palin " by Rebecca A. Mansour posted at www.conservatives4palin.com. RAM brings you into Sarah's world where a father teaches his children to have " discipline and fortitude, as well as love of the outdoors and to be self-reliant -- in hunting, fishing and sports." She also clarifies many misconceptions while giving thoughtful insight into Sarah Palin.

Family members and others have described her as shy and reserved growing up. This particular point I noticed as Sarah first entered the walk way cleared for her to ascend to the podium. She clutched her baby son Trig and had look of reservation about entering this narrow passage way with so many on lookers trying to get a glimpse , a picture or even a touch . I could only imagine what is going through her mind in regards to her protecting her son. As she passes and greets that magnetic smile appears and you begin to see the transformation of the personality that is about to take the stage. Her confidence is now in full bloom as she works the crowd in the rope line like a pro. Once on stage she begins with her " Do you love your freedom?"
which gets the crowd fired up. Fired up they remain.

What I found amazing is that this whole time she has held on to Trig even though there was a baby stroller, she never once gave that child to anyone. She gave the speech, she shook hands, she signed autographs all the while carry Trig in one arm. Remember Trig is now almost three years old and has some weight to him. I thought to myself can you imagine Barrack Obama trying to do this?

Once off stage all the local politicians along with the local press begin to surround her and the questions and answer sessions begins. In watching her response I got glimpses of the reservations but she manages to keep the smile and not show any sign of annoyance that everyone wants to keep her there while she so wants to bring her child back to the bus. As she was passing the girl next to me managed to get her Going Rogue Book out for an autograph and I wanted to speak to her, but I simpley stuck out my hand and she shook it but by now the reservation was back on her face and her only concern was getting Trig back to the bus.

I have to mention this little tidbit that I also noticed. Remember the hoopla about the cloths that the media tried to make. The little grey sweater that she is wearing on the cover of her new Book " America by the Heart", she was wearing that today. A cloths diva would not be caught dead wearing something so recognizable. Sarah has made her Red Blazer a staple of her campaign stops. She has style but she is not obsessed with cloths.

The title of this piece "She's just Sarah and it is what it is " comes from the executive producer Mark Burnett of TLC's" Sarah Palin's Alaska". He closes an interview with those words. I thought them to be a proper compliment to this woman. He understood that Sarah Palin is her own woman, with her own mind and her own way of doing things. she is genuine and real. There are no airs about her and what you see is what you get.

If she were to run for POTUS does anyone believe that she would be your typical machine candidate that does and says what his handlers want him to say and do? Her track record definitely shows what we can expect from her. She has a real problem with politicians that blatantly have " Conflicts of Interests" and a sense of entitlements for being in office. They simply forget who they are working for. She believes in fiscal responsibility and is always aware that it is the peoples money not big government's. She has developed a spine of steel and will fight back whenever she or her positions and principles are under seize by the media or the opposing party. Political correctness has no hold on this woman, she tells it like it is. What this country needs the most is the breaking up of the Good Old Boys Club in Washington DC and she cut her teeth in breaking Alaska's. We the people will love seeing that!

Open Letter to Sarah

This week that has passed as far as symbolism has been a very good week for you and your family. Bristol is making quite an impression on DWTS and you have been given an indirect yet powerful boost in your standing as leader of the change that is coming. Senator Tune by stating that his decision to run for POTUS is contingent with your decision to run or not has shown that you are the leader that has emerged.

As a follower of yours since Adam Brinkley started Sarah for VP website, you have always distinguished yourself by avoiding the normal and safe paths to achieve your goals. You have shown that you will tackle any situation head on and not worry about personal consequences. You've got a strong family that is not swayed by the mean spirited attempts to undermine you and yours solely for the purpose of winning a political advantage. You are tough and determined.

My reason for writing this letter is to go back in immediate history to point out mistakes that have allowed presidential administrations be defined by. Jimmy Carter's public malaise through his tenure. His arrogant mismanagement of the economy brought us to levels only seen in third world countries. Ronald Reagan provided a blue print to follow in restoring a failed economy but he to failed to reign in government spending. For every new dollar that the government took in revenue he allowed the congress to spend $1.80. Thus forever giving the opposition the ruse that he increased the deficit during his tenure. George Bush I given the reigns of the longest period of economic growth and a popularity rating in the 90% range placed to much priority in foreign involvement and not enough on domestic issues. He was not a believer in trickle down economics and willingly broke his pledge for no new taxes which was the beginning of the dismantling the Reagan years. Bill Clinton mistakenly took his election as a mandate to take the country to the left of center and to make this country like Europe with it's socialist form of government. 1994 showed that the people of the United States would have none of that and gave the republicans control of congress and the purse strings in over 40 years of democratic dominance. Bill Clinton was wise enough to realize that he needed to move right of center and proclaim that the era of bog government was over just allowing him to be reelected even though he was impeached in the House of Representatives. George Bush II had the potential to be regarded as a great president in history, yet he allowed his advisers to change his image from a" cowboy" to a "compassionate conservative". George Bush II lost his presidency when he allowed the media to paint the Abeu Grab prisoner treatment as more horrific than the beheading of US citizens or the burned bodies hanging from a bridge overpass . Carl Rove made the biggest miscalculation of the Bush years by not responding to this. Barrack Obama has so misread his hope and change message that he has placed himself in the peoples eyes as Jimmy Carter II.

The public is in such a state of fear and lack of direction in the economy that 30 days from now the largest change in political history could take place. If it does happen, will it be politics as usual or will real change in government begin to take hold. " The Pledge " from the Republicans is a band aid on a severe wound. The Government has become so large that it will take every dime that every individual earns and it still would not be enough to cub its appetite. The control of the money that is our tax dollars must be taken away from the federal government and be given back to each individual states. Neil Bortz's " Fair Tax " would be a great way to put the Federal Government on a diet that it could live with and we the people could control how much we pay in taxes.

Sarah, as the leader of this wave of change you need to call in your markers and get a commitment from the new freshman class to have the " Fair Tax" legislation that has been buried these many years brought up discussed and voted upon. It requires that we are looking at real change and not lip service that we are so use to.

Sarah, your Face Book Posting would be a great start.

Hey Arizona - What are you about to do?

The clock is ticking and the most important primary in Arizona's history is within days. So Arizonians what are you about to do?

Are you once again going to fall for the rhetoric that is all over the airwaves and the use and abuse of the word conservative?

Are you going to pinch your nose and vote for someone that you will then spend your time complaining about?

Are you going to research the candidate and see for yourself what the candidate stands for?

Are you going to talk to people and see what they think?

Are you going to list what you like and what you don't like about the candidates running and then determine which way to vote?

Are you going to give money to the candidate that you believe will do the best job so that his message can be communicated?

I and my family have already voted. I talk to everyone that will listen about what I perceive is the problems that politicians have created for us. I have sent money to candidates that I believe will do what I want done.

So Arizona, what have you done and what are you about to do?
